the perfect figure

many people have told me that i am underweight and that i need to put on a bit more fat. well…that is what i am trying to achieve. so i googled on how to gain weight when being thin is heridetory (yeah my mom’s as thin as me when she’s my age so don’t blame me for having this figure).

basically, i have to eat a lot more (as if i’m not eating a lot right now), i have to do only certain exercises that could turn whatever i eat into muscles rather than just burning them by doing nothing and i cant eat junk food…sigh~ but if that’s what it takes, then i don’t have any other choice.

i also did some calculation on my calories. These results will help me know how many calories i need to maintain my current weight, which is 40 kg, and the number of calories needed per day to achieve my goal weight in a healthy, steady manner, 48 kg.

i need 1729.6 calories per day to maintain my current weight without exercise.

i need 1810.5 calories per day to reach my goal weight slowly and maintain that weight without exercise.

If i reduce my current caloric intake to 1229.6 calories per day i will lose one pound per week without exercise.

If i increase my current caloric intake to 2229.6 calories per day, i will gain one pound per week.

according to The United States Department of Agriculture, i need roughly 216.2 grams of carbohydrates, 57.1 grams of fat, and 86.5 grams of protein per day for 1729.6 calories to maintain my weight of 40 kg.

i need 226.3 grams of carbohydrates, 59.7 grams of fat, and 90.5 grams of protein per day for 1810.5 calories to maintain my goal weight of 48 kg.

my problem now is i don’t know how to count how many grams of food i take, so i decided to just eat as much as i can. i eat around 5 to 6 times a day, alternating heavy food and snacks, i don’t eat anything greasy or oily, and my diet centres on bread, rice, fish, meat, veggies, eggs and dairy.

it’ll take me a few months to properly see the result…i hope this works.
